Hey all -
I just received this 1942 Walther PP 22lr on trade and was interested to see if I could get some questions answered. Slide is marked Zella Mehlis and according to the serial number, 1942 date code. All three stamps are intact. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Bunch of more pictures here (sorry, my friend and I love great gun porn, I mean pictures): Index of /images/WaltherPP Questions: - Markings on the Holster I see is D.R.G.M. Akah. Nothing else - is this a correct holster for this Walther PP? - In the current condition of the holster, what would the value be? I could not discern current value compared to others. - Would you rate the condition of the Walther around 95%? I know some of the pictures show some surface scuffs on the left side and bluing wear around the muzzle. Other than that, bluing intact and the bore is MINT - sorry we didn't get any pictures of this (very hard shots here). - Is there anything I should be looking at for more detail/pictures? I could not find any numbers inside the slide or anywhere else, so I wasn't sure if there was anything I missed. The frame also attracts a magnet, so I believe this isn't an alloy frame. Not sure what I'm going to do with this yet....let me know what you guys think. Last edited by Danman; 02-22-2012 at 10:18 AM. |
