The addiction flares up again
Dear all. It seems that this classic .32 PP by Manurhin will still be a virgin next year when celebrating its 50th anniversary. I couldn't resist to take it home with me because I had to satisfy the obsession that is typical for the disease discussed in this forum. Too bad that my health insurance company wouln't bear the cost for my shopping therapy. It's a control of symptoms only although it's very useful doubtlessly.

balogh, Beautiful, the nicest gun that has been shown here yet. Did it come from Switzerland?

I've alwys been struck by the quality of the finish on the Manurhin pistols, for whatever reason. They just exude class and craftsmanship. That's a great find, Balogh. Thanks for sharing your good fortune with us.

Interesting is the fact that the test target is in German Language, has the Walther logo, and the date is stamped the German way. The French would have rather written "3 oct. 1963" or "3 OCT 1963" instead. That makes me believe that this gun has been test fired in Germany. Last edited by Balogh; 02-19-2012 at 02:41 PM. Balogh,
What a striking Manurhin.....an excellent addition to any collection. I'm sure you will give it tender loving care. I agree with Searcher, the early Manurhin's especially with the brown grips are beautiful guns, more like works of art IMO. Speaking of your addiction, you do not suffer alone. I think it is spread throughout the Forum. There is no known cure and no Walthers Anonymous to help us. I for one am enjoying the illness.... ![]() ~J
