PPK/S .22 cal magazine

What is a reasonable cost for a .22 caliber PP/PPK/S magazine? I've been searching for some time now and have gotten some leads from threads previously posted on the forum but I'm not finding costs.

I know Earl's has them and the auction boards are asking $95 and up. I know they are hard to find but that cost seems high. Is it the scarcity that is driving up the asking prices?

Are .22 caliber PPK magazines even more expensive?

Factory PPK/S magaizines in .22 LR are quite rare
and $90 to a $100 is what they run. If you find a factory .22 mag for
$65-75 dollars in good shape, buy it immediately.

The PPK in .22 LR runs about the same price and expect
to pay about $10-20 more if it has a bown finger rest.

There is no getting around it; the aftermarket mag''s made
by Triple K, from what I have heard, do not run well at all.
But, I may be wrong.

Pay the extra money for the genuine Walther magazine and you will
not be dissapointed, and it should last a lifetime with proper care....

I've got a Triple K mag that I use from time to time in my British contract Walther PP. It works OK on the range; I'd classify it as servicable, and it didn't cost anywhere near $100. If you are looking strictly for a backup/shooter/range companion, a Triple K would be worth the risk. (And I say that because you wouldn't want to carry one of these pistols for self-defense and trust your life to it.)

If you think the factory mags for the .22 caliber PP are expensive, try picking up a magazine for the PP Sport some time.

I had a TripleK mag a while back for my Brit .22 PP. Not too bad and I used it for the range to keep the wear & tear off my factory ones. Has a strange finger rest and loading button was on the opposite side. Sold it to a friend who was in your shoes. He didn't want to pay Earl's $110+ on a factory. Give one a try, mine fed good.
