Q on 22 TPH disassembly

Just picked up a used Walther/Interarms TPH 22lr Made in US today. Previous owner apparently carried in his pocket and there's tons of lint and junk in it. Where can I find instructions on disassembling the slide and frame so I can totally get everything cleaned out? Thanks.

Are you asking about completely dismantling the gun, or just field stripping the slide from the frame? I would think you could get all the junk out just field stripping and maybe removing the grips. Field strip is the same procedure as any PP, PPK or PPK/S, if that helps.

Looking to completely dismantle. All ready took off grips and still alot of stuff in cracks & crevices and probably junk is in the firing pin channel.

The Marstar instructions are ass-backward and will almost surely result in your leaving Bubba-marks on the slide and extractor of your pistol unless you make special "soft" tools and hold the slide very securely in a padded vise. The extractor in PP series and TPH pistols should be removed only after FIRST removing the safety. This is accomplished by rotating it halfway between safe and fire (to disable the detent) and then pushing it out from the inside (not prying from the outside). Once the safety is out, the extractor falls out by itself.
