Viridian C5 or C5L on PK380 - anyone do this?

As the thread title says, has anyone put a Viridian C5 or C5L GREEN laser on their PK380? Will fit? Won't fit? Any other problems?

Well, Viridian got back to me first with this email reply.

The C5 laser will fit on the PK380 without having you to carve into the Rail adapter. But do know that the laser will not butt all the way flush with your trigger guard and that is fine.

UPDATE:

As suspected, the #2 insert or spacer that is supplied (set of 1 thru 4) is a poor match on the PK380. It positions the laser housing in exactly the same location away from the trigger guard as it does the Crimson Trace Red unit. Luckily I had carved some delrin plastic a year or so ago to make the fit "correct" and now the wife's PK380 has a GREEN laser that aligns the back ends of the on/off paddles exactly to the finger hole in the front part of the trigger guard.

I just wonder how many other different brands of pistols have that same problem; none of the inserts are even what I would call a good match?

You asked, so I provide...
Getting something of the green laser beam against the low contrast of the weapon... it's a challenge. If I had used the #2 insert from Crimson Trace there would be a 1/4" gap (5-6mm) between the trigger guard and the on-off paddles. My hand cut insert solves that problem. It is the same problem with the Crimson Trace Red as they have almost the same housing and I traded the insert from Red to Green with no further modifications.
