I bought my PK about 4 months ago. I started having issues within firing 50 rounds. It fails to eject, fails to load and fails to fire. I have used 5 brands of ammo. Results are the same. I just emailed customer service today, so we'll see what they are willing to do.

Thumbs down me too...

I'm in the same boat, and plan to return this pistol to Davidson's. It's quite inaccurate and will not cycle with multiple different types of ammo. I'm disappointed to say the least, especially since the P22...is such a great gun!

Since it has a lifetime warranty, they should fix it. My retailer sent it in for me, they did the pin, ejector and spring. I'm surprised a new gun needed that much, and how many people have the same story. After return, all the bullets come out the front of the gun now, and I hear you may need 300 rounds to break it in, before it settles down into a consistent pattern.

reliability...silly laser setup...

I posted here before and this will be my last. I want you all to know that I never had a problem shooting my PK380. I only put one make of ammo through it which was Federal Hydro-shoks. I cleaned it after every use and stored it in lock box in my closet. I originally purchased this gun for CCW and I liked the idea of having a laser on my gun. After firing it the first time, my laser jumped the rails and slid off the gun. Also, when you draw this gun you have to reach down and turn the laser on? Now if your in a situation with a bad guy, your not gonna have time for this and so my laser may as well be deemed useless. They fixed the laser problem by sending me a brand new one with exchange, no problem. But I couldnt get all the negativeity out of my mind from reading this forum. So I sold it. I didnt want what happened to all of you, to happen to me at a possible critical time. So thanks for the good and bad reviews and happy shooting. If your not comfortable with your piece you need to get another.
Jamie

Just picked up my PK380 over the last weekend and I am pleased so far. Stripped it down and cleaned the factory grease out, oiled it, reassembled (had no problems with that long spring) Loved the fact they gave you the spent casing from the test fire of the gun. I shot about 150+ rounds (Winchester FMJ 95G, Remington JHP 85G, and Federal Hydra Shok 90G) and every round chambered, fired, and ejected with no problems. I have the Nickel slide, looks great. Love it so far, want one of my own as this one is my wife's. Anyone one know the best (cheapest) place to get reliable ammo though? Walmart has 100 round box for $37, little pricey but cheap compared to the gun store in town at $21 per 50 count

I had the same issue, but I just took my time and tried NOT to react to the recoil and it seemed to help a little, otherwise, most of my shots are about an inch too low. Either way you look at it though, for my wife's self defense weapon, as long as she aims center mass, she'll be fine....they won't with those Federal Hydra Shoks

It seems it's either a good batch from the factory or it's not. If it is bad, it is bad right away. The repairs have been satisfactory. I hear they still need like 300 rounds break in to settle down to a consistent pattern. Have not reached that point yet. Mine shoots low and a little left too. I was afraid to take a hammer and punch to adjust the sight to the side, but apparently that is the method.

The major sporting goods chains usually have sales like $15 for 50 and it may even be brand name.

My wife and I recently purchased a P22 and two PK380's
So far the PK's have fired and ejected flawlessly. The P22 has had occasional failure to feed issues, but I am confident that this will go away after a few more rounds.
The problem that we are having is finding a decent outside holsters. We picked up a couple that leave the end of the barrel exposed and in order to draw the gun you almost need to release your belt, so the front site does not catch on the bottom of the holster.
