Then again, it might just be owned by someone on this very forum who thinks that it's a work of art. Beauty, as they say, is in the eye of the gun-holder.

I think if they blended the front scaling into the FDE better, and also colored the takedown lever/trigger/magazine release levers, it would have looked a lot better.

Interesting. No my cuppa but I'd sure there are some who will appreciate it.

With that "upgraded light mount" I.E. rail section glued to the bottom of the dust cover, it's not going to fit in any "normal" P99 holsters. Even given that they're in California, that pricing seems ambitious. Given that an unmolested, new P99 is $500-550 these days, I can't think of a good reason to buy that thing. $500 + $60 for two extra mags + $30 (maybe) for the Blade-Tech mag carrier is the absolute ceiling for the price (nylon holster = $0 IMO, since they're unsafe and nobody should use them), and that's if you think the mods done to it are tasteful. Frankly, I can't imagine paying more than $425 or so for the whole package, and the first thing I'd do would be to attempt to reverse as much of the damage as possible.

Herr Walther Unproven
He could have screwed the rail to the dust cover with a tapped hole. There's plenty of room there for a flush+ screw.
