Anyone own this laser, anyone try it on a P99c and how is fit and do you like?

I was actually wondering this same thing...but for a full size P99. If you could post a picture and your thoughts on it when you get it, that would be appreciated!

Due to my interest in the P99c, with the potential addition of a laser, I'll be following this as well.

Not shot it yet, just initial thoughts.

Rather mixed reactions just based on install.

1. I have small hands - hence the P99c - and with the smallest attachment #2 sizing inserts (#2 & #4 are said to be best for the P99) it still does not touch the trigger housing and so, I still need to slightly reach my finger to overlap and hit the on switch. It works, but I do wish there was a bit more overlap of my finger on the switch. No way this can be done unless you leave out the insert and just use the "clamp" that you use. Safe to do? Not sure, clamp seems firm but maybe it will shift when firing. It is possible I suppose as doing so would place the laser maybe 2-3mm closer to my finger and the trigger guard.

2. the profile of the laser is so thin, and the trigger guard so damn wide on the P99c, there is just barely barely enough room to actuate the on/off buttons. I mean, barely. You can every time and it works, but you don't feel or hear the positive click if your just holding it and actuate the on/off switch since your essentially just getting by.

3. it requires a small screw driver to install. And you don't get it. Lame. They give you 2 tiny hex for adjustments, but no jewelers screwdriver.

4. not in anyway a quick detach type setup if that matters. With inserts and clamp, it is a bit convoluted.

5. battery is one I've never seen before CR 1/3N - so maybe a PITA to find?

Now it is a Crimson Trace and so the quality is great and as expected. However, I am just not 100% thrilled. I likely will keep it, but the use of these fitment inserts + a clamp (which is hard to tell in online photos) leave install a fit a bit to be desired. The purpose of this is just home defense use and I plan to take it off if holstered outside the home at say the range.

pictures WILL BE COMING

Try activating the switch with the index finger of your weak hand as you form your grip?

Just google CR 1/3N they're available everywhere. It can also use 2- 357 silver oxide batteries, cheaper.

From your pictures, it looks pretty darn good for a universal fit laser. I've seen worse.

Range report???
