The P99/Q or P99/D
came about in 2008.. I am not 100% when production started
Walther as of yet does not sell that model to the public.. it is lawenforcement only... hence my reply on the picture post "how do you get ot own a P99/Q"
Also if you search you will find posts about P99/RAD which is eseentialy the same gun ... only that the slide and barrel are made by Radom for their military and Walther supplies the rest... even the internal parts for the slide...

Do a search on P99/RAD or P99/Q as I have writen a few times about it....(here and on AR15 a few years back)
restrictions for police service guns in Germany have changed once more... the P99/Q is like the P99/QA in a way but does not require a decocker to decock the striker for take down.... the P99/D is a pure double action only gun...
the trigger on the P99/Q is good but still not as good as a Glock, while that I guess is a opinion based statement

Yuck...that Q is pretty hideous. Beauty and the Beast in those last photos.

I'll think I'll stick with my second gen AS...
