I have a 1st gen walther p99 Ti. I also live in Canada. The Canadian import laws say anything under $100.00 is "OK" without official papers. Is it possible to keep the adapter under $100.00? If so, put me down for one also.

Thanks

I think Aluminum is the way to go.

Does anybody know if the HK rail can be shortened? Might save you some development time REDFISH......

I agree though, this is a no-brainer! My gen1 is about to be removed from CCW use, and made into a nightstand gun, but I need a rail, so I can throw on a light/laser combo, and no way am I paying $500+ for one! I would sell this baby, and buy a gen2 before I'd do that!

That combined with the .22 conversion kit already discussed, would make this gun basically perfect for me.

YES, Please put me down for one!
My best friend also has a gen1, and he would buy one too....

I am slowly getting all the cad drawings done and have now started on the first prototype.
My CNC is down right but I hope to have it fixed next week.

How about don't answer then?

I was about to either purchase a Glock 19/23 with rail, or find out if you can "open" the rail on our guns.......Thank God you decided to do this REDFISH, this is a MUCH better option than buying a G19 or cutting the frame on my baby

Even if you open the rail the distance and radius is completely different than all other models of guns, accessories, and adapters. The first generation is a one of a kind rail.
