Where is P88 date code...
Where is the P88 date code located?, it's by the proof on rt side of frame on my 88c but my 88 only has a "Z" and "II" w/a space in between w/a proof on either side, typical flaming...antlers
 to the right and a larger proof somewhat like a crown. "Crown" appears sideways, poss "N" over crown rather that Z next to. My eyes are not the best and the kid already hit it for the night! It's SN: 003067 if that helps.

I'll try to get a few pics up tomorrow, the "II" between the two proofs should be the date code, correct? SN 003067 mfgr'd in.... `78? That can't be right! My KC marked 88c (sn 100467) would be `93, correct?
Is the alpha numeric code is the same as Sig's, j=8/etc I'm confused  Did Walther skip "J" in the date coding? If so it now all makes sense! Last edited by ColKlink; 02-09-2012 at 01:31 AM. |
