How unusual are gray frames on a P88?

the anodized aluminum frame of the p88 might look grey in comparison to the blued steel slide. if you oil the frame it should look closer in colour to the slide.

P88 Gray Slide

Mine is very very light gray. I have only seen one other actual P88, but have seen many pictures. All have dark frames.

It's possible that it's original, but it's also possible that I am related to the British royal family.

Is it gray in all the inside nooks and crannies too?

What's the s/n?

P88 Gray Frame

The lightweight frame is factory original and is light gray. Apparently it is somewhat unusual. Email me at oeschler@gmail.com for pictures.

What FACT suggests to you that the grey finish is factory original?
