For the OP, a humble suggestion. The P5C is too neat a piece to pass up, especially in virtually new condition. You'd be a chump not to buy it, assuming price is within reason.
You'd also be a chump not to shoot it a bit, and enjoy it. But you'd be equally crazy to shoot the daylights out of it, spares/gunsmiths being an issue.
So get your Walther, but get some modern plastic fantastic as a#2 gun to shoot relentlessly 'till you're really accomplished. Such guns aren't always things of beauty, but there are some good ones out there that feel right, shoot straight, and go bang all the damned time.
