P5/P5C Mags

What do you do if you've got a P5 or P5C .... or Both? You scour the World looking for genuine Walther mags. I recently found a seller for these mags, but he's in Germany....I was a little leery of sending money and then waiting for a month or so to receive my mags, but I took a chance. I ordered two mags and received them approximately 4 weeks later. After ordering a few more mags and a few more emails back and forth, we struck a deal where he'd send me a stock pile of mags and I would simply mail them out as he sold them….his shipping cost as well as the time to ship/receive were detrimental to his business. My payment will be a free mag ever now and then.

So, if you're in the market for some genuine Walther mags (used, but in VERY good condition) then here are the links to the ads he’s currently running on GunBroker.

P5 Compact http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=383339118

P5 http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=383339118

I gotta say, they look almost new.....very hard to tell they ever been used.

Thanks for the information, 'oldfart. You've sure got a nice stash of P5 magazines now, that's for sure! I'm good myself - I've got four myself (plus two P5 Compact mags still on the Interarms packing card)! I've also mastered the art of converting P.38 magazines to function in the P5 so I'll never need to search ever again.

Hey oldfart,

First time poster but long time reader of the forums. I have a p5 and I could use a few magazines. I'm curious if I can just PayPal the seller you are mentioning above without using Gunbroker because I don't have an account.

Is that an option? You can email me at mrbob444@yahoo.com with more details.

Thanks,
Bob

Thumbs up

Thank you imaoldfart! I got a hold of Herr Maurer via his gmail address, and he responded back in approximately 24 hours. I now have 3ea P5C magazines headed my way shortly, via Texas.

Thanks again!

~Gary

Hey, you're welcome. Yep, he sends mags to me in bulk shipments and I do the packaging and shipping, filling orders on this side of the pond. It saves him a some money on shipping and knocks off 3 or 4 weeks if he were to ship an order from Germany.

Hey oldfart,

Just thought I'd let the folks here know I ordered my mags and I was very pleased with the condition when I got them! They both looked barely used. Thanks for letting us know about them.

How many of these does he have? I'm debating ordering another. Is there a specified number of these he has left?
