I know my friend is itchin for me to post this.....
My friend and I went to the range today. Me with my P5 and he with his PPS and PK380. After a hundred rounds or so we headed out. We stopped by a gun shop we hadn't been in before just to see if they had anything interesting. In their cabinet they had a brand new, in box with all the docs, second mag, etc., a never been fired P5. Best of all, they wanted $600 for it but they let it go for $550. It has the interarms stamp on the slide. I'll post a couple cell phone photos as soon as I upload them to the net.

That is a fabulous deal. We've seen them advertised for well north of $800 of late. Congratulations (to your friend) on a great find. Please do post up some photos, if your friend will give you a loan on the pistol to take them; we always like to see pictures of pretty Walthers ... and especially the P5.

Hey.....I just noticed it, I didn't buy it. But.....my friend did! Like I said in one of my earlier posts, I think he had P5 envy at the range. If he didn't buy it I was so tempted myself.

I've copied it, how do I paste it? Where is the photo saved once I copy it to retrieve it? I guess I never took the time to learn cut and paste.
Scuba Tiger gave me the exact instructions. Link in original post. Thanks all. Now I know how to do it. Last edited by JPK; 01-27-2012 at 11:54 PM. |

Oh yes ... nice job on the posting ("there be photos there, captain!") and a lovely example of the P5. Then again, I've never seen one that didn't look good, even with some wear and tear on its outter shell. Thanks for taking the time to share your friend's good fortune. That was a stellar deal.

If he didn't buy it I would have. The price was just too good to let pass. My wife would have went nuclear though.

The good news there is that the fallout generally dissipates. Sometimes, of course, it takes longer than at other times. For a NIB P5 at that price? I'd welcome a little fallout.
