hoping to pick up a p22 early next year

i have been just starting to read up again and wanted to say hello and thank you for all the info you guys have provided. i am looking into getting cci minimags as soon as i find some and i was just reading to check some of the screw, front sight for example, for tightness. I love walthers and wish i could have more but good ole california is kinda limiting lol. well i will just be glad to add one more to the collection and cant wait to get her!

KY Gun Co has them for sale at present for $ 219. That is less than I paid for my 2002 or 2003 model. Of course, finding a CA model is what you will need to do if you live in California. Same pistol only the barrel nut is locked on with something like red loctite. So you can't add a thread adapter for a suppressor........ The 5" model is exactly the same as the 3.4" model from the slide muzzle rearward. The only difference is the 5" barrel, longer sleeve and the clamp on barrel stabilizer. The 5" ( target) model costs more and has to have the stabilizer removed for field stripping. But, the longer barrel is more accurate. Good luck with it. Walther did strengthen the slide in about 2011 but they still haven't polished the trigger bar ears as far as I know. Remington Golden Bullets work as well as Mini Mags. M1911

I see the CA 3.4" model is $ 280. The regular P22 is no longer on sale for $219....it will be back at somewhere around that price soon I expect. M1911
