The amount of capital investment in machinery to make something as mundane as a round of .22 RF is staggering. Add in the distrubution infrastucture, and it is even more impressive.

Great video, and food for thought.

True that.....but they make 4,000,000 rounds per day. Now how much would that sell for again? M1911

If there is a market for ammo, new plants WILL be built.

Now, these new plants will probably NOT be on American soil......

So, get ready for some "Made in China" ammo heading to the Walmarts pretty soon. Hell, they make everything else..........

They may call them Burrets......
