best thing to do is find a screw and allen key for a glock front sight and screw it in to the sight to hold it in place, that way you dont make a mess and/or permanently get it stuck in there, the ppq sight is held in the same way and the sights are the same but it might be harder to find those parts for the ppq

ans1215,

Can you provide more details and perhaps a picture or sketch of this.
I've replaced a few front sights on my P22 but never used a screw.

Thanks,

Twrecks

heres a link to the parts guide for a ppq, in this guide you want part number 1.1, or 1. contact walther america to see if its available if not you can get this below, or you can call hiviz and tell them you have the fiber optic front sight for the p22 and you lost the screw and allen wrench and see if they will send you a new one, they may do it for free

Trijicon 5 Glock Front Screws for Night Sight GL03. GL03. Trijicon Bright & Tough Riflescope Mounts, Rings & Bases, Trijicon Riflescope Mounts, Rings & Bases.

and heres a link to the tool for it
ARMORER'S TOOLS for GLOCKŪ - Brownells

i recommend this set because it has the allen key and the nut driver for either type of sight screw

ans1215,

Awesome, so the P22 sight can have a screw with a low profile 3/32" hex head to hold it to the slide. I now understand why there is a channel in the sight for the screw to fit. I would have never known. I called the Walther/SW support and asked for several sights to replace the one (#3) that came off. They shipped only one, sigh. Shipping cost probably exceeds the part cost for 50 of them. I feel like asking for the screws also next time (which will be soon due to the poor P22 "screw-less" design).

I have the standard barrel P22.

Thank You,

Twrecks

Recieved an email from Walther Customer Service and thier recommendation was clear finger nail polish...I will definitly look into the screw attachment, don't need it to fly off again

Their cost maybe, but they sell them for $0.99 each if they are ordered. I ordered a few spares when I ordered a bunch of spare springs, firing pin etc...
