P22 Front Sight

I called Walther Customer support Monday and recieved (free) 6 sights (PPQ), a screw, and the allen wrench to install it today. I will take pictures and post when I get the chance.

My P22 is shooting low...I couldn't find any difference in height with the 3 extra front sights included...or any number defining them as a #1, 2, 3 or 4.

Does anyone know the scoop on this?

FYI...the sight is definetly cut for the hex screw if you have one...I may use the one from my PPQ since I have Meprolights on it now!

I replaced my front sight, nothing to difficult...The new one popped in with a little force and the screw went right in. I haven't shot it yet but it seems pretty secure, sorry no pictures but very small space to operate

PPQ, I called Walther and ordered front sights from them for the PPQ for my P22, they didn't charge for the sights or the shipping. They actually sent 6 sights of verious sizes (tall, medium, short), , allen wrench, and the screw, so this might be an option for you, took about 3-4 days to receive my order...As I understand if your shooting low, use the short front sight and if you shooting high use the tall front sight...Hope this helps. there is a height difference, the number 4 is the tallest at 5.7mm and will correct high aim (make the gun shoot lower) and each number is 0.5mm smaller, so the no3 is 5.2mm no 2 is 4.7mm, you cant see it but if you measure it with a digital caliper you'll see the difference. they should all be marked, if not then call customer service and tell them your problem, they will send all new sights correctly marked for free
