well I am looking for .22 magazines for my PPK/s, I just bought one off gunbroker and paid what I think is WAY to much, is there a web site out there with decent prices on Walther magazines???
WOW! those prices are crazy high, I dont guess I got hurt too bad on my purchase, $130.00 total including shipping for a mag with the finger rest,
little did I know the seller is in Poland???
errr, good catch, I didnt even notice that, guess I had better look into it, thanks, you may have just saved me $130.00 on something that will not work.
I spoke to the Gunbroker guy from Poland.....I asked him if he noticed that his prices were higher than what the official US distributor is asking for his own ...*new* ones. He came back and chided me saying his were factory. I answered back at him that so were the US ones at $99 or $125. Since that time...I see *zero* bids for his mags.....
His old auction ended with no activity....he simply relists and still asks crazy prices-->
Moments ago I was on German website Egun....lost a bid ( on the last few seconds) on a Walther 22LR mag for PP......it sold for 16.50 Euros...about $23.......

yeah, I contacted him, and apologized for bidding on the wrong mag, and agreed to send him $10.00 (he only ask for $4.00) to compensate him for his fees and time, I had to send it western union, and it cost $15.00 to send $10.00!!!
thanks for the link, I did not know he sold them (took me a minute to google the site)
I just ordered 1 with black finger rest. and it was cheaper than the gunbroker stuff.
No one is bringing up TripleK's......in all cases....Earls, the Polish guy on Gunbroker or Ebay, or the German site E-gun....we're talking about factory mags.
Another pet peeve of mine as long as we're bringing up TripleK's. TripleK seems to have an uncertain reputation....anywhere from "junk" to "works well". My point?---> the packaging on TripleK clearly says UNCONDITIONALLY GUARANTEED TO FIT AND FEED. So I ask "us" users.....do we just throw them in the drawer and say ..."I thought so, junk!"....when they don't work?...OR....do we hold the manufacturer's feet to the fire and work with him until he gets his product right? I believe the collective "we" are more apt to belly-ache than work with the vendor. I've done research on TripleK and find out that they are the "silent" suppliers to many of the world's gunmakers for mags. You can bet that if one of the gunmakers has a problem with their mags, they hold TripleK's feet to the fire to "make right". We can do the same thing, on a smaller scale. TripleK makes hundreds of different mag styles, and they can't get better without "feedback" from the customer community.....
Rant over.....
