new here from Orlando
Just saying hello and trying to find out a few things about these Walther Fire arms. my name is Robert Walther(great name right) and the stories I gathered from my grand parents and father is that I'm a 4 generation Walther removed from the gun Making family(meaning my family 4 generations before me left the gun making industry) and a few more away from the founder of the company. I have no real evidence to prove this true or not, but it is a great story and even cooler if it is true.
Now that I have that out of the way, Wife purchased a S&W body Guard .380 and didn't enjoy firing it at the range, so she took to a gun trader who happened to give her just about even money in trade for a Walther P22. I couldn't say no and so now we are the proud owners of a "brushed chrome" Walther P22. The Ammo is amazingly cheap and look forward to taking it with my my brother's Walther P99. I'm shopping for mods and stuff I can do to it. I love modifying things and a sponsored road racer so anything I can tinker with is entertaining to me. During the work week is a bit of a bore, but I do get to work in steel helping in the manufacturing of pressure vessels and fuel storage tanks for gas stations. anyway enough about me. Howdy. going to do some lerking before I ask too many questions. |

Welcome aboard; it's great to have you here. I hate to ask the obvous question, but with a last name like Walther, what in the heck are you doing signing up with a moniker that reads Flipper66? LOL (OK, I'm only half kidding.)

Long LONG time running nickname(elementary school), I use it on all the message boards I'm apart of.(which seems to grow exponentially by the day) It seemed silly to change my name from one board to another as I'm active on all. A lot of the automotive boards(some of which I moderate) have a lot of "cross talk" and it just keeps things simple.
