Hello from Kentucky
Hi, just dropping by to say hello. New member and PPS owner, and hopefully soon, will be a PPQ owner. As I've seen on here, the PPQ is stirring up a lot of talk!
![]() I'm from Lexington, KY, fairly new to handguns in general, my PPS was my 3rd handgun purchase. But since have also added a Sig Pro 2022 that I bought new at a gun show. The PPQ has my mouth watering now though, thanks to my purchase of the PPS, and watching Hickok45 and Nutnfancy's Youtube videos on the PPQ. Just becoming a member, but have been coming to the Walther Forum for a bit though. Seems there's a good bit of knowledge, as it keeps popping up when I'm researching different pistols, ammo, etc. Anyway, thanks for all the advice, and please keep it all coming, this newbie can use it! |

Nice to have you hear, brann; welcome aboard. The PPS is a terrific carry pistol, as you already know, and the PPQ is every bit as good as what you've been reading here. Pick up a few more Walthers -- P38, P88, P99, P5, PPK, etc -- and you'll be good to go.
Enjoy your time here.

I'm in Ky too. Just joined today. I have 2 P-1's and AC44 P-38 that's in great shape. Both the P-1's are backup carry guns for me and my wife. She absolutly loves her P-1.

Welcome to the Forum BD. I may hit you up for some information about the area if that's ok. I am originally from Georgetown but moved to the south then southwest and have been away for 30 yrs. Looks like my job is being terminated this June so I am moving back to the bluegrass area in April. I know of Bud's because I shoot there when I visit home. But I have no idea what else is going there for the firearms person. I hear Louisville has a good gun show. BTW - You will enjoy your time here for sure. ~J

I'm learning Walthers are just amazing! I think my next Walther may be the P99 or P99c. I had thought about the P22, but I may have to get the P99 before hand! I've never shot any of the older Walther pistols, but I've heard they are like the energizer bunny, just keep on going and going! haha

You will have a great time with these guns P99 are great but I don't have one so I can't comment any further on them. Both my P1's and the P.38 are great shooters though. |

Welcome to the new (and not so new) members from KY. I live in the northeast area of Louisville Metro, and Openrange is a great indoor range, and very convenient for me to get to. The people there are very friendly and helpful. It's where I take my PP and P5 to "exercise" them as often as possible.
