Can anyone help me out with a little information on what i have? It seems to have all the right markings but, i dont understand what the serial number means.

New member. Finally going ahead to get a CCW in Michigan. Bought a PPS 9mm last week and hope to get to a range next week for first fire. New to pistols. 26 years Air Foce so other than deer hunting as a teen, all range time on M-16 and a few heavier items. Just looking through the posts it appears that this'll be the place I need to be to learn more and get practical help.

I'm new to this forum and this is the first time I've been in any forum. I am having a hard time finding where i can post questions about my P38. Can someone point me in the right way to do this? It would be much appreciated!

Hi,
I am new to collecting and trying to concentrate on WWII guns and memorabilia. I just bought a PP with several Nazi markings and seems in fairly good shape considering its age. I also have a bunch of 1911 Colts, mostly 45s and a 9 mm and a bunch of 22s, no 38 Supra yet.

Welcome aboard, Tom; it's nice to have you with us. How about posting up a photo or two of your WWII-era pistol in the PP/TP section of the forum? We'd love to get a look at it. Enjoy your time here.

Hello,
I am new to any type of forums, so I am not sure how to respond.

I am a new collector of WWII memorabelia and guns. I thave most of the US guns that are legal except bolt actions and several of the 1911 manufacturer's and holsters. I have a Jap Nambu and holster in nice shape, with the GI's return paperwork.

I recently purchased my first German weapon, a Walther PP, with Nazi stamps. It is reasonably good shape, although I know nothing about it. I need to learn how to dissasemble it and clean.

Tom

Check out the FAQ section of the PP/TP section. You'll find some Sticky threads on how to take your pistol apart and put it back together, as well as how to ID it. Best of luck to you.
