The firearms industry is taking a great approach.

More companies sticking a thumb in the eye of NY here:
New York Boycott - An NC Gun Blog Ron Barrett did this to CA quite a few years ago, hopefully this will snowball as the industry realizes that hobbyist shooters buy more guns than LE or state government agencies. If I had a magazine supply company, I'd be considering only selling 5-round magazines to NY/CA/IL/NJ state government, and recalling all the old magazines to be "safety inspected" and retro-fitted to 5x. And then I'd be out of the business of supplying tyrants with magazines, probably offset by increased sales to the rest of the nation.

FOID, no legal carry, and a general "contempt of citizen" from the ruling class.
I'm from IL (Chicago suburbs and North side) ... and can't go back without being a criminal - you're in that boat, whether you like it or not.

I received an email from Smith and Wesson this morning with links on how to contact my congresscritters about the current issues confronting the 2nd.
I was surprised. Good on them for doing so.

I love it, but I want the ones with the contracts to join in on this.
If manufacturers with large contracts would join in, like Beretta, Glock, and S&W for handguns, and say, Colt, and FN for rifles, then I believe it would make an impact. |

Ya if I recall correctly, Colt is even making their modern sporting rifles in NY. A place where the sale is banned.

I was happy up until I saw the LaRue post with the Federal exemption listed. I cried a little inside when I saw that...

That would be a wise one to avoid, as that might be seen as a crime during a time of war. Denying the Feds is risky.
