What you'd think it gets you is a a pro-gun activist group. What you really get is a bunch of far-right, tin-foil hat wearing fools who say that the problem is Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, and Grand Theft Auto, not the heavily bullied, probably chemically imbalanced person in the audience who needs mental help.

I'm in on this lifetime membership after I stop spending money on all the guns and gun accessories I can before the bans start.

Marginally... sad they can't seem to grow some "male genitalia", and just say that there needs to be better enforcement of existing laws to prevent "crazy sons of b---hes" from getting a hold of firearms. They would rather pass the buck and blame stuff that has NEVER been the issue for SANE people...

Their incongruent approach between what they "believe in", and how they are going about realizing those beliefs, is almost as misguided as some of our politicians.. hmm

I believe that any firearm advocacy voice in our country means well, even the NRA.
At this time in our society, does anyone realistically believe that you're capable of preventing mentally ill people from obtaining access to weapons? The very best we can hope for in the aftermath of mass shootings is an increased public awareness that looks for the potential of someone else willing to commit this sort of act. No one, including our Government, will ever be able to prevent unstable individuals from obtaining access to firearms by removing assault weapons from law abiding citizens. I truly believe that the only answer is to put more firearms in the hands of knowledgeable, well trained individuals willing to step up in a crisis situation. I want the mentally unstable individual contemplating a mass murder to literally say to themselves, "that idea won't work because someone will shoot me the minute I open fire". Does this leave us susceptible to some other form of violent act? Sure, but at least I'll be armed and capable of reducing the harm someone is inflicting on innocent people.

Where are you seeing a life membership for $300? The cheapest I have seen is $600 on the paperwork where they want me to renew early and $1000 on the website. I do see a $375 life membership if over the age of 65 or a disabled vet.
I don't see anything about a $300 one
