Knives

Just out of curiosity, does anyone have knives to go with their guns. I have several, but this is my favorite. I bought it twenty years ago (in black). I want to think way back then it was made by Ka-Bar, but I could be wrong.

It's about as simple a blade as you can get. The little hex wrenches in the handle add a nice touch. You can argue that it's not really a knife but a tool that you use on your job or whatever.

I do carry a knife at all times
A Benchmade Osborne design or the 710D2. I also carry a Cold Steel at 2 o'clock

I Still am on the hunt for a Rukus... but I have a hard time with the price tag ... so I might settle for the mini

The SOS usually resides in my nightstand. I like that it slips easily in the hip pocket of a pair of jeans or down the side of a cowboy boot. The design is so unusual that sheathed, most people don't suspect that it's actually a knife.

I had a K-Bar years ago and it took a beating, I loved that knife except for the leather on the handle.
My new baby is Eickhorn KM 2000 http://www.toolshop.de/product_info....n&currency=USD

I haven't used it much but it's bad a$$.

Have you guys seen www.knifetest.com ? He does some crazy tests with the knifes.

I took another look at mine last night and it actually is a Bench Mark, albeit a very old one. Thanks for the responses though. You've given me some more ideas to add to my collection.

I always carry a small knife (Kershaw Scallion), but don't consider it a weapon. More of a tool.

i used to be a hardcore Kershaw fan. i have a bunch, my blur tanto in grey being my favorite.

i have been leaning towards Sog's offerings lately, and carry the Trident tanto with me daily. i actually have two---i left my hunting Trident on my bumper after field dressing a couple of pheasants this past season, and went back 3 hours later to find it in the middle of a well travelled road. it was open, and was run over a few times. i took it home, cleaned it up, and sharpened it to remove the one little chip in the blade. i was amazed that the assisted opening function still worked flawlessly!!! it still works great till this day.

For my EDC I have a Benchmade 760 BK Ti Lum.

I have several other knives as well, Spyderco, Emerson, SOG, Masters of Defense, and Benchmade.
