Lots. 22 years ago it was carried by every gendarme in Paris, and probably elsewhere throughout France.

I owned one, years ago, NIB. A smooth gun, extremely well made, but no better than a 1960s S&W revolver. Gave it to my endodontist as his fee for a root canal. True story.

So let's see: He first shot you full of novocaine, and you shot him in return ... is that it? A most excellent barter, MGMike.

Actually it was for my wife, who is allergic to novocaine. She insisted on going cold turkey for a root canal. The endodontist was very reluctant to do it without an anaesthetic, but I threatened to shoot him if he didn't (otherwise I would have been mercilessly *****whipped); I thought he should at least get the gun after it was over.

So the nerve came out, the gutta percha went in, the wife was pleased, I was relieved, and the endodontist was richer by one expensive revolver. It worked out for everyone.

I have been wanting a MR73 for years haven't been able to find the exact model I want. Not many turn up for sale.

I don't think many have been imported into US they have had importers over the years none currently that I know of. I will have to import one eventually I guess.

I would really like to have an MR73 with a six inch barrel. I consider the quality of the Manurhin revolvers excellent but still not on par with Korth.

Particularly the older Korth revolvers that were made under the ownership of Willi Korth himself were extremely well made and have a very wear resistant bluing.

They alway tell you to buy the gun, not the story ... but that is one fine story regardless.

That's also a cool pistol; wouldn't mind finding one, with or without a story attached to it.
