I've taken notice of something for quite some time now on the forum that irks me a bit, and tonight I find myself finally bringing light to the issue I'm talking about.

Sent using Tapyytalkie 5

Sent from my iPhooey

Sent from my Droid Pocketbrain... etc.

You get the idea. A lot of us (myself included) often peruse the forum with cellular pocket computers, and many are set up either by the owner or pre-set from the factory to add tags to every posting they produce. Nobody cares what kind of phone you're using or what program, app, or whatever you use to post your thoughts. Please - if even for the sake of saving bandwidth here on our forum - turn off these features from your phone before you post.

From a reader convenience standpoint alone, this makes terrific sense. Bravo, PilotSteve. I, for one, had no idea that an on/off switch existed.

The app states "forum admin may disable this feature" in the settings for signature, perhaps a note to him/her would solve the issue across waltherforums entirely.

I turned my signature off, as you can see, it still showed up

Meh

Thanks for the feedback; we'll kick it upstairs to the folks who work magic and see if there's something they can do to shut it down.
