Wink

Please tell my FIST and Serpa p99 holsters that PPQ will not fit in them! They keep accepting and retaining the PPQ, much to my embarrassment.

I read once that it could be proved that a bumblebee cannot fly. Be careful! I keep seeing them in the air this time of year.

^^^THANK YOU^^^
You tell your holsters, I'll tell mine and in the mean time some people still won't accept real world observations. But when I pick up a PPQ, I'll be using the holster that doesn't know its not supposed to fit!

I'm glad you guys like your holsters. Plastic is forgiving, and can be adjusted with a hairdryer. Leather, not so forgiving. No offense, but if I'm going to shell out $100 or more for Sparks (or equivalent) leather, I expect something more than "fat guy in a little coat"

By the way, I notice Walther is producing PPQ "blue guns" so it shouldn't be too long until they are available this side of the pond.

Holster

A holster should have the same relationship to your weapon as using the proper ammunition in the designated calibre. If you are looking for proper fit and performance you truly need a holster that is specifically designed for your weapon.

As a custom holster designer and manufacturer we can provide you with a proper platform for your pistol. If you would like photos and further discuss your needs contact me at
mchlkl@yahoo.com or call Ph#970 819 4465

I have two Blackhawk Serpa's, a fobus, and a Rafter "S" Leather Holster. None of the holsters take the PPQ very well. It looks to me like the front of the slide and possibly the trigger guard are causing the issues. Does anyone have any suggestions? I really want to be able to use it in my Serpa. I have not tried adjusting the tension screw on the Serpa. Has anyone else tried this? I also have a SW990 that does not fit perfectly in the holsters either. Slide and trigger guard on it is different as well. Too bad they couldn't have just made the PPQ trigger in a P99. Although, I do like the groves on the front of the slide for press check. Let me know what you guys have noticed and if there is a Serpa holster out there that fits it perfectly.

Holster

My experience tells me that if you are attemtping to carry your weapon concealed in a plastic holster you will have many of them in your drawer. For proper fit, concealbility and performance you need to purchase a proper weapon specific holster. You'll spend less money in the long run.

We manufacture custom leather concealment holsters and would be glad to discuss your needs with you. Call 970 810 4465

Capt.Mike

BTW, the XDm holster does fit and is adjustable with an allen wrench and actually covers more of the trigger and mag release than the Fobus that is advertised on the Walther website.

Have not tried any leather holsters yet. Still to come.

All I can really find specifically for the PPQ are:

Speed Scabbard — DeSantis Holster

and

Fobus Holster: WALTHER PPQ - PADDLE HOLSTER - LEFT HAND

Also, I'd like to get a straight answer on whether the Blackhawk kydex and leather stuff for the P99 will fit the PPQ perfectly? Thanks guys!

Hey Michael, I was going to let sleeping dogs lie but since you wanted to blast this thread full of your advertising I though I'd chime in on my note.
I'm not sure I want to buy a holster from a guy that shoots himself in the middle of a gun show in Colorado!! All due respect but one of the main things we ALL look for in a holster is the ability to "protect" the trigger. Why in the world would I buy one from someone that doesn't follow the all mighty rules of how to handle a firearm?? 1. Treat ALL weapons "AS IF IT WERE LOADED" 2. NEVER trust a weapon that's handed to you! 3. CLEAR the weapon yourself, EVEN IF YOU'RE STANDING NEXT TO THE PERSON THAT CLEARED IT BEFORE YOU! With the ppq being such a great trigger from the factory I'm not sure I would trust my enemies with your holsters. PERIOD.

It seems like you've burned bridges in Colorado with that unfortunate incident and I'm not about to let you slide, about the people who actually HELPED YOU during that incident and YOU sir stiffed them. Just because you want to advertise in a forum hoping your background has not reached, well sir it has.
