Searcher does do a great job moderating, and probably 98% of the guys here do show mutual respect for one another and their opinions, and not just in the PP forum. There are two or three trolls here who can't stand dissenting opinions (and who can't read and comprehend English to boot), but you'll figure out who they are before too long.

Allow me to go back to response # 29 above..... are there any instructions or videos showing how to strip-down a 22LR slide? I'm at a loss when comparing the build architecture between the centerfire and rimfire versions.

Well ... I got a bit further into the tear-down of my 22LR slide. I will cross-post another thread here as it relates. Notice the use of lockable hemostats to hold the firing pin against its spring...I think this is a great "third-hand" to have when taking these guns down and putting them back together.
