P.38/P1 Picture Thread

Was just reading over the "Cracked P1 Slide" thread.

I was finally compelled to dig into the far corner of the safe and pull my pistols out for a quick inspection. I became a little paranoid after reading about all the cracks and splits the P1 is prone to. After I made sure my pistols weren't cracked I even thought about running a few rounds through them.

Also thought I'd show them off, since they get so little time in the sunlight.

With all the love around here for these classic pistols I looked for a picture thread and didn't see it so here we go!

With the WWII-design grips, which feel much better than the black post-war police style that came with it:

Here are a few of mine.. The one in the Interarms box is a BMI surplus P1. The red background is a 1957 Bundeswehr P38/P1 Ser# 080. The others are a 1968 and a 1977 commercial P38.

I know I've posted it a couple of times here & there already, but it sure fits here in this wonderful thread - it's about time we have a P.38 picture page! Well, if a picture tells a thousand words, a cool high-definition video of my P.38 going through a couple of magazines will tell a million!

Load it up in Youtube (720 hi-def) and enjoy!
