The last Model 4?

I have a late version of the model 4, #493726. Dieter's latest book lists the final s/n as #493700, so maybe they went a little past that. do you suppose this is the last #4?

Also sort of interesting that the final #4 coincides with the first PP, 1929, which is no doubt the better pistol, but it also shows there was rhyme and reason to Walther's overall strategy.

When I posted the info re the Model 4 #493726 I had not actually received the gun. Now I have it, and it looks perfect, perhaps unfired. I need to master the art of posting pictures and i'll be glad to make the #4 my first effort. Yes, I know, it's simple, but octogenarians do not learn quickly.
