Very Cool, congrats...

If possible, I'd love for you to post a video of it shooting...

These are great little pistols, and yours appears to be in very nice condition, Joe. Nice job ... and thanks for taking the time to share your good fortune with the rest of us. We just don't see enough posts or pictures of the true classics.

Joe,

Congratulations on your fine Model 9 Walther! From the pictures it appears to be in great shape, and all correct. #622707 is a Type II manufactured somewhere around 1929 or 1930 +/-. (The slight warping at the bottom of the grips is consistent with these little pistols.)

I recommend that you avoid dry firing it much. This can cause the firing pin to break. For live fire use standard 50 gr round nose ammo. They are fun to shoot and remarkably accurate for such tiny pistols. Thanks for sharing!

Earl

That's really a good looking Model 9. By it's condition it's one of the nicer ones I've seen. Congratulations..~J

I own a model 9 SN 534038 in nickel plating that is complete but missing the original grips. Since I have no real use for it I'd like to sell or trade it if there is anyone interested?
