Talking Model 4 funshow find

I had thinking that I would like to acquire a Model 4, preferably one with military usage as my main interest is in military arms. My neighbor at a recent funshow had a postwar example on his table with an aftermarket magazine for around $200.00 more than I felt like paying for that one. He did say that he had left the original? magazine at home..... I didn't buy it.
I saw him again. This time he did have a well worn original looking mag with it, but still too high for me. He was at this past weekend's funshow with the same pistol, still trying to sell it to me. He mentioned that his best offer so far was a little below what I was willing to pay. I wanted a Model 4 but his was not the most desirable to me. Then I went for a walk, on my way back to my table I noticed someone coming into the show with a small pistol in his hand. The shape was unmistakable..... I walked up to him and asked about it. Yes, it was for sale. (Don't you hate it when someone brings just what you have been looking for the the funshow and it is not for sale?) They want spare magazines, a holster, or just to find out more about it.....
"No, it is not for sale, I'm keeping it. It is not for sale, stop following me...... You can't have Grandpa's gun!...... C'mon let go of it, it is not for sale!....."
Well this one was..... He was asking barely more for his nice pistol than I would have hoped he wanted for it. This was considerably less than the other gun that I had been offered. The German Imperial acceptance markings on frame and slide did catch my attention as well........
A brief discussion followed by an exchange of money/pistol and it followed me home.....
Oh, my computer and camera still aren't speaking to each other or I would
provide pics..... So I will give a bit more description: about 90% or so of what appears to be original finish,; nice horn grips with CW entwined logo;
crisp, tight action with strong springs; and a very nice bore. Someone took good care of this one. I am thinking of putting a magazine or two through it just to see how it shoots. Hopefully 10 or 20 rounds of factory roundnose shouldn't damage it.
