Walther P4

Just showing off my recently purchased P4 - thanks to Atlmike for a seamless transaction. I have not had a chance to shoot it yet but I am looking forward to it. I just ordered some extra mags from Cheaper Than Dirt for $11.97 each - not too bad I think.

Nice looking gun, all right, and a great price on the extra mags. Just curious ... are they marked P1 or P38?

I've always found the P4 to be a superb shooter and a fun range gun, though I don't shoot it quite as well as I do the P1. It might be the difference in barrel length; then again, it might just be me. Be sure to give us a range report once you get it out for a test-drive.

Here is the mag link - supposedly used/very good factory mags marked P38 or P1.

Very nice! Here's mine I brought back from Germany several years ago.

Picked mine up today, shot very nice and tight. I have some feelers out for some more sights as the number 1 is a little tall hope to find a number 3 front sight. put 50 through it without a hiccup.

I finally shot my P4 today - I'm very impressed. The magazines I got from Cheaper Than Dirt were all marked P38, in decent shape for the price and they all worked flawlessly as did the pistol itself. It was very accurate with the sights being centered quite well. I have no complaints - a very smooth shooting pistol.
